New Delhi: Teen Universe 2017 Gears up to Pass on a Legacy
and launched her own fashion brand named 'Eliferous'."For the crown
may pass but once you are a queen, you will always remain a queen"
Ms. Srishti Kaur, a
resident of Noida NCR and an alumnus of Lotus Valley International was crowned
Teen Universe 2017 after beating 29 contestants from around the world at the
annual beauty pageant held at Nicaragua, Central America. As she prepares to
pass on her crown to the next winner on 17th February, celebrations of
gratitude unfold from her to her mentors and from charitable organisations to
her on her work during the year.
In April 2017,
Sristhi, a fashion student from the London College of Fashion, won the crown
with her charming communication skills and quality high fashion presence during
the contest. Her runner-ups were Ary Trava from Mexico and Samantha Pierre from
Canada. Besides the main title, she also bagged the awards for Best National
Haute Couture and the Best National Costume, which featured a proud peacock
celebrating the Astronomical and Astrological achievements of India. The
costume was created and designed by Devashish Majumdar and Melvyn Noronha.
Staying true to her
interviews and answers during the Teen Universe pageant, Ms. Kaur has been
working various social issues like becoming the brand ambassador for the Indian
Cancer Society, providing aid to the visually impaired community, and through
her school for the underprivileged called, Apna Ghar.

Kaur is her biggest strength for her accomplishments and on realizing her
daughter's true potential, she left no stone unturned in providing her the best
of everything, making sure that she was ready to bring glory to India.
