Mahindra Powerol launches first of its kind Gas Genset

New Delhi: Mahindra Powerol, a business unit of the USD 19 billion Mahindra Group, today announced its entry in the gas powered genset segment. Babul supriyo, Hon’ble Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises launches india’s first CNG/NG gas based gensets powered by Mahindra in Delhi. The company launched a 6-cylinder 125 kVA Gas genset priced at Rs 9.5 Lakhs + taxes for the Delhi market.

Manufactured at the company’s plant in Chakan, the zero-particulate matter in the genset will result in negligible pollution.

In addition, the noise level is 4 dbA lower than a conventional genset.
