Mumbai : CNBC-TV18, India’s No. 1 business news channel concluded the jury-meet of its most-awaited marquee property, the 15^th edition of The India Business Leaders Awards at Trident BKC, Mumbai.

Marking its 20 years in India, CNBC-TV18 has established itself as the undisputed leader in the business and financial channel in India. The broadcast channel’s property Indian Business Leaders Awards has successfully set a prestigious benchmark in felicitating the leaders in India’s business landscape. Honoring the disruptors and change-makers of the industry, IBLA in the 15^th year of its inception has established itself as an enriching platform for corporate luminaries, who have created history while keeping a keen eye on India’s future.

Chaired by Aditya Puri, Managing Director, HDFC Bank, the jury panel of the 15^thedition of IBLA  comprisedthe Hon’ble Minister of State, Finance & Corporate Affairs,Anurag Thakur, andindustry veterans,Varun Berry, Managing Director, Britannia, Rajnish Kumar, Chairman, State Bank of India, Zia Mody, Founder and Managing Partner AZB & Partner, Sanjiv Puri, Chairman and Managing Director, ITC, and ZarinDaruwala, CEO, Standard Chartered Bank. 

It was a challenging task to select winners who are stalwarts in their respective fields and contribute towards economic growth and are working earnestly towards establishing profitable, sustainable and socially-conscious businesses.

The jury-meet also witnessed a high power panel discussion focused on ‘Going for growth: USD 5 trillion Target’, moderated by CNBC-TV18’s Managing Editor Shereen Bhan in the presence of prominent industry veterans and jury members of IBLA 2019. The engaging discussion focused on the current state of the Indian economy, fiscal and monetary measures being taken by the Government to boost and bring the mojo back.  The panel ended on a positive outlook where the panelists are optimistic about revival and believe in the resilience of the Indian economy.
